This project involves upgrading the existing Distributed Antenna System (DAS) that supports both public safety and cellular communications across a commercial campus. The upgrade includes the installation of new head-end equipment in the existing head-end room located in Building A, Basement, Room AL19. The DAS currently supports the 800 MHz public safety band as well as T-Mobile’s 1900 MHz and 2100 MHz bands. New remote amplifier pairs will be installed in four Intermediate Distribution Frame (IDF) rooms, which are distributed across multiple buildings and floors on the campus. It is assumed that fiber optic connections between these IDF rooms and the head-end room are already in place. The project will utilize existing signal sources and passive infrastructure throughout the system.
