Pre-sales: Joe was great. He answered all of my questions and helped me make the best choice between contractors. Another company gave me a cheaper price for the Golden Pledge but Joe was willing to meet the price as I felt more comfortable working with him. Joe was not the typical "pushy" sales person -- he was just plain helpful.Installation: Joe has a large team (~10) and they were able to remove all the shingles quickly. Unfortunately, I had a lot of rotted plywood they had to replace. I recently paid $1500 to wrap my Mansard windows and they had to remove the wrap. They cut the wrap off with an X-ACTO blade when it could have been possible to remove the wrap by popping out a couple of nails. I understand it would have cost them more time to try to remove the wrap but it would have saved me from having to replace it all! I feel the installers could have also been more careful with their ladders. Joe told me they have blocks which go in the gutters to prevent the ladders from leaning directly on the gutters, but my three month old gutters got scratched by their ladders. They could have put cardboard or something similar between their ladders and my gutters to protect them.Post-installation: Joe and I came to a reasonable agreement on price to have his crew re-wrap my Mansard windows. They cleaned up all the trash, shingles, nails, etc. on the ground. However, I would have liked to see them clean up some of the scuffs and black tar marks they left on my gutters and the aluminum siding.Overall: Joe was informative, helpful and he gave me a great GAF roof with the Golden Pledge warranty for a great price.

Outstanding experience. My 1950's home and garage was literally transformed with new siding/trim/gutters. These guys are PROs! It was obvious from the start that the install team takes great pride in their work and it really shows, notably in the details . They answered all my questions and even offered some styling/color suggestions which we incorporated in the finished product. Getting many great compliments from neighbors. They have my highest recommendation. Cleanup was excellent and they would not leave the job until they were ensured we were completely satisfied.

Joe is very knowledgable and honest. His work crew is fast and efficient. My yard, patio and deck were cleaner when the finished than before they started the job. Our roof looks fantastic and I appreciated all of Joe's answers to my questions. My husband and I felt we got a very reasonable price for a job well done. We HIGHLY recommend Atlantic Craftsman Co.

You could tell we'd been neglecting the exterior of our home for several years. Our roof was old and heavily stained with algae – it was incredibly embarrassing. We also had several areas of trim and soffit that were rotting and falling apart. Our gutters were in sad shape – old, leaky, and beat up. Our porch railings and spindles were rotting and in disrepair. To make a long story short, we were in need of a lot of work done to our home. I needed to find a company that could do it all.I kept putting everything off because I was afraid of being burned by yet another contractor. I learned you’ve got to be very careful when hiring contractors. You have to be diligent and check to make sure contractors have references and are licensed and insured. It’s also a good idea to be home throughout the duration of the job – not to micromanage, but to learn and oversee; making sure all is done to your satisfaction. After all, it’s your money and your house.Anyway, I literally interviewed 8 different companies and got estimates that were all over the map. In the end, I threw out the ridiculous highs and lows - and settled on Atlantic Craftsman. Not only was the price was right, but more importantly to me, I found a contractor (Joe) whom I could trust to do the job right. I could tell right away that these guys were a professional outfit. How many contractors are able to print out an estimate/contract on the spot, right from their vehicles? How many roofers are GAF Master Elite Certified (I can assure you – not many)? Fortunately for me, Atlantic Craftsman turned out to be everything I was looking for in a company: trustworthy with rock solid credentials, priced right, and among the best in the industry at what they do.It’s now a year later and our new roof and gutters look absolutely amazing! Mike and his team did a fantastic job metal wrapping all of our trim, fascia, and dentil blocks (most companies can’t or won’t do the dentil blocks). We also have matching ventilated vinyl bead board installed over our porch ceiling and all our soffits – complimenting the wrapped trim and fascia quite nicely. The end result is that not only does our home look amazing; it’s now impervious to the elements! That means no more scraping, sanding, peeling, and painting – ever! We’ve gotten numerous compliments from gawking neighbors.I also know firsthand that Atlantic Craftsman stands behind their warranty. I had a recent problem that affected my roof and Joe sent a technician to repair the problem within 48 hours (very impressive).When it comes time to replace my vinyl siding, I’ll be calling Atlantic Craftsman.

I contacted Joe at Atlantic Craftsman about putting a new roof on my house and he was able to provide me with a roofing estimate the same day. They completed the work soon after. I was pleased with his work, his crew was courteous, his work was professional, even the neighbors still comment on how nice the roof looks and how it's improved the look of the whole neighborhood! I was so pleased with his work that I even recommended him to my parents who have now had their roof done, and are also very happy with the results! I would recommend Atlantic Craftsman to anyone in need of a new roof. Very fair price, great product, excellent cleanup from the crew, and wonderful results. Thanks Joe!
