Austin Energy or its contractors will install two new utility poles at designated waypoints WP03 and WP05 near Patterson Road. Each pole will be 45 feet in height and 18 inches in diameter. The pole at WP03 will be positioned 20 feet from the edge of pavement (EOP) on Patterson Road and 7 feet from the EOP on Emma Street. The pole at WP05 will be located 30 feet from the EOP on Patterson Road and 7 feet from the EOP on Emma Street. Overhead wiring will be installed from existing pole 272545 to the new poles at WP03 and WP05, continuing onward to new poles on adjacent private property. Two 3-foot by 3-foot excavation cuts will be made behind the curb to facilitate installation. All overhead wire sag heights must exceed a minimum clearance of 22 feet. The work area for each pole installation will measure approximately 12 feet by 50 feet, with each pole installation to be completed separately. The TA-10 installation method or equipment will be utilized for this project.
