Perform restoration work for PG&E gas line excavation within the public right-of-way (ROW), involving trenching approximately 4 feet by 4 feet. Ensure all environmental controls are implemented to prevent dust, debris, and wastewater from contaminating the surrounding environment. When working within 15 feet of any monument, comply strictly with California State Law 8771, including mandatory contact with the inspector prior to beginning excavation to avoid a minimum fine of $5,800 for non-compliance. Adhere to all City of Oakland Public Works Standards, including the Street Excavation Rules revised August 2021, and City Council Ordinance No. 13300 C.M.S.
