Scope of Work Requirements:
1. Demolition:
- Remove wall materials down to studs in the existing wet area surrounding the bathtub or shower enclosure.
- Remove the existing bathtub or shower base completely.
2. Plumbing Updates:
- Replace all existing tub and shower plumbing components, including installation of a new pressure-balanced valve, tub spout or shower faucet, showerhead, and drain and overflow assembly.
- Ensure all plumbing work complies fully with current California Plumbing Code (CPC) requirements.
3. Wall Preparation:
- Install HardieBacker cement board or an equivalent cementitious backer on all walls surrounding the tub or shower enclosure.

4. New Fixture Installation:
- Install a new acrylic bathtub or shower base in the existing location.
- Install three (3) DreamLine Elite high-tech polymer shower wall panels at standard height.

5. Toilet Replacement:
- Remove and properly dispose of the existing toilet.
- Install a new code-compliant, water-conserving toilet rated at 1.28 gallons per flush (gpf) or less, meeting current Title 24 water efficiency standards.
6. Finishing:
- Restore all disturbed finishes to pre-project condition or better.
- Install all fixtures strictly according to manufacturer’s instructions and applicable code requirements.
