This project involves making minor alterations to a historic building facade, specifically replacing a non-historic storefront door and adding surface-applied muntins to existing glazing. The goal is to enhance the storefront’s appearance while maintaining harmony with the historic character of the building.
Perform minor modifications to the existing historic facade by replacing the current non-historic storefront door with a new door that is compatible with the building's character. Additionally, apply new surface-mounted muntins to the existing non-historic glazing infill to match the design and appearance of the opposite side of the facade. All work must respect the historic context and maintain visual consistency across the storefront elements.
