Electrical Conduit Replacement and Service Consolidation Following Roof Fire Damage

Project details

Due to limited fire damage on the roof, all electrical conduits and conductors must be replaced or tested to ensure safety and compliance. All lighting fixtures in the rear area are to be replaced with new units due to smoke contamination. All equipment located in the mezzanine must be carefully removed to mitigate smoke damage and subsequently reinstalled once cleared. In accordance with LADWP directives, electrical services are to be consolidated into a single service drop connected to the existing large 2000A service. A master permit for power release has been approved; however, the final inspection has not yet been scheduled. The permit expired on April 7, 2025, but the inspector has agreed to temporarily reinstate the master permit to allow processing of the supplemental permit application. To expedite plan review, stamped as-built drawings have been attached for reference. Please note, the project address is not located within the 2025 wildfire damage zones.
