Our dryer suddenly wouldn't start on Sunday. Monday morning I called AOK Appliance Service. Kurt answered the phone, had an opening in a couple hours, he came out and fixed the blown thermal fuse and we were back in business. Service was fast and professional. He seemed very knowledgeable about about appliances. He quickly looked over the washer and advised me about cleaning tablets that would remove soap scum buildup and keep washer and clothes clean. No high pressure sales, just offered. Service call was $65, technical charge of $20 was also on bill which I just noticed - not sure what that was for. Basically just unscrewed cover, removed part of lint cover to access fuse, replaced plug in fuse and put all back together, took maybe 15 min. With parts and tax bill was $134
You know you found a great guy when they are willing to help you over the phone. I was determined to try and fix my washer by myself but I kept running into a brick wall. I called several companies and finally got Kurt with A Ok Appliance on the phone. When I started asking questions I wasn't given the run around like the other companies that i had spoken to. Simply put he advized me of three things i could check on my own at home then said if none of those worked i should give him a call back. It turned out that I could determine that my refrigerator needed a new defrost heater. Kurt came out and replaced it for me for less than I could have done it by myself. It feels great to know that there are still people out there who care about their customers and is willing to give honest work for honest pay.I will reccomend A Ok Appliance to everyone I can.
