I transferred to Ambit two months ago. I was offered a .099 per kilowatt hour rate. I was never told that this was to be a variable rate. I paid Reliant Energy a $200 early departure penalty to go with Ambit. Why pay .1375 at Reliant when I could get .099 with Ambit. For the first month I did receive the promised .099 rate. With my second bill the per kilowatt rate went to .1570. I have spent the last two hours trying to get resolution to this situation to no avail.To me this is a perfect example of "bait and switch."I would tell anyone not to go with Ambit because they appear to be a devious company.
The technician was very professional and knew exactly what he was doing and the pricing. Was very good!

Called the company and spoke to Darrell about rates, as I am interested in being a customer, and he was very patient and super helpful! He made it easy to understand and have me all the necessary information that I needed!!! It makes me comfortable that I am going to be a customer!!! Just plain awesome!
