I came across this company while looking for a someone to replace carpeting in our home. Their local rep, in San Diego, used to work for Empire and had quoted us carpet, when she came back and gave us a better deal through Star Floors. We thought we made a good choice because she seemed honest. The old adage, "You get what you pay for" is resonating in our ears.If you are looking for CHEAP carpet.... use Star FloorsIf you want a sales rep to promise to fulfill EVERYTHING you're looking for.... use Star FloorsIf you are looking for 1st quality IRREGULARs... use Star Floors.If you want POOR installation and finished product... us Star Floors.If you like to chase after your sales rep and company representatives...use Star Floors.They are a nightmare to work with and DO NOT BACK UP their product.If this is what you're looking for...USE START FLOORS...TWO WORDS DESCRIBE THE COMPANY....... THEY SUCK ! ! ! ! ! Too bad there is no negative stars....THEY WOULD EARN THE HIGHEST PRAISE in NEGATIVITY.

I absolutely would not to business with this company. I had them come to my house to provide me a quote and they refuse to itemize their quote or provide ANY basic information. I asked for room dimensions - will not provide, asked for information on how they will pad the stairs - will not provide, asked for total square yards of carpeting they are ordering - will not provide, asked if they were licensed, bonded and insured - will not provide, asked for samples of the padding - will not provide, asked about warranty of their work - will not provide, asked for warranty info on carpet - will not provide, etc. Basically, if you want zero information and go into ordering thousands of dollars worth of carpet blindly then choose this company. If you want any sort of level of customer service, work guarantee, etc. go somewhere else.

I was extremely happy with my service and product from Star Floors. The sales rep was very helpful with what I needed and when they came to install the carpeting, the installers were polite, professional and respectful of my home. They did an excellent job and I would recommend their service and product to anyone looking for new flooring! My real estate agent recommended them highly and I can see why!
