DO NOT USE MITCHELL! I had items stolen from my basement when they installed a hot water heater. I would never accuse anyone of theft unless I was totaly sure. I called the supervisor (Dan) and he was rude and dismissive. I couldn't beleive the lack of response I got from the company.
Doesn't get any better than this company- They are honest and easy to deal with. They explained the work that needed to be done and gave me an extremely fair price. I would recommend this company to anybody needing professional courteous service. They are what they say...Experts providing excellent service
Great company! Fast, curtious and clean. I had a humidifier installed by Mitchell's recently and Jim, the technician was very neat and respectful of my home. The price was reasonable and the whole process from start to finish was pleasant and easy. I will be be using them for everything in the future and you should too.

Most honest company I have found. They talk to you about what they found and explain options. They don't just give you the scare tactic that many plumbers in the area use.
Unreliable company and bad customer service !!! I was given a time window of 11-2 for furnace repair and by 3:30 when no one showed I called. Was told someone would be here by 4:00. 5:30 called again and was told they would page someone and get back to me. Waited until 6:00 and no calls so I called another company. Since I had no heat and this was a Friday I ended up paying overtime rates to another company [who did show up when they promised] to fix my furnace. Would never use this company for any services. I would not even give them one star.
They were at my house for 2.5 hours of work, used minimal materials (under $200.00) and charged me $1,450.00. When asked why the cost was so high, they refused to even ballpark a justification on cost. They also refused to talk with me over the phone and lied about manager availability. (oh they are not here now.) Apparently their managers work about an hour a day based on the numerous requests to talk with them at different times of the day. I was under the impression based on the quote that they were going to replace major sections of my flu pipe. it turned out they replaces 2.5 feet. Feeling thoroughly hosed. I prefer to work on a high trust system. homeowner beware.
Called Mitchell Plumbing on a Sunday for a bad circulation pump on my furnace boiler. They charged $219 for the call. Replaced the pump and charged me $1,089 for the repair. Thinking that it was an expensive pump I paid the charges. Next day found out the pump cost $79. The work took an hour for them to complete-10 minutes were spent on a personal call and the pump had to be reinstalled after it was incorrectly installed the first time. Asked for a partial refund but was refused. Asked for an itemized invoice-again they refused. Understand that charges will be higher on a weekend but $1,000 for a one hour job is crazy. They stated that they "believe that the charges are reasonable given that we have very high overhead costs." Stay away from these people unless you believe that $1,000 for an hours work is reasonable???? If you do-let me come work for you!!
