I gave 1 star because zero stars was not an option. This is actually the first review I've ever written for a business. We were connected to Airfast through our home warranty company to fix our broken air conditioner. We were told our request would be processed as an emergency since I am 6 months pregnant, have asthma, and temperature was steadily between 98-102 the week our air conditioner broke. They were to come out the next day. My husband took off work but they never called. He called them and they couldn't guarantee they would make it out that day because they didn't know it was an emergency. They said they would come the next day between 10-2. My husband gave them my phone number (which they already had from the home warranty order) and told them to call both of us. I stayed home the next day to meet them. It was 102 outside and 96 in our home. They were at the house but never knocked or rang the doorbell. They only left a receipt that they were there because my husband didn't answer his phone. They never called me. We expressed our frustration on the 3rd day with Airfast. The office staff was nice but not helpful. They explained a technician would be out later that day between 1-5. They were unwilling to give a smaller time block. Again, my husband and I took off work to cover the hours, only to find out at 4 o'clock that they skipped our house because AGAIN, they called my husband while he was at work and never tried to call me. We asked the tech that called earlier why he didn't attempt to call both numbers and he said it was an issue we needed to take up with the office and he would not be stopping by. Furious and delirious from heat we called the office, they extended their apologies and promised a tech would be out later that day. At 5:30p I still hadn't heard anything, contacted the office to make sure someone would be out that evening, they promised a tech would be out later that evening. By 7:30p we still hadn't heard anything. We contacted the tech from earlier that day who, again, was not helpful, said he wasn't working and would forward my number to the working tech, then hung up.After this, we requested our home warranty company change who they were contracting with. They agreed and sent Airfast an email letting them know the service request was cancelled. The next day (day 4) I received a call from a tech that he was on the way to our house. I was beside myself. This company is disorganized. They are in demand b/c of the heat so they don't care about customer service. They had 3 days to fix our air conditioner and either skipped our house or didn't bother going an extra step...like calling both phones or ringing a door bell (which is common sense, not an extra step to me). Between my husband and I, we took off 3 days of work. We're trying to save time with 1 on the way.I don 't know about the quality of their work, but wouldn't trust them to even make it to your home.
