Don't use Able! They are very friendly up front and on the phone, but once they do the work they don't want to be bothered by you anymore. I had a new roof installed by Able and 2 weeks later my ceiling was all wet. I called them to come fix it, and they charged my $300 (roof was obviously still under warranty.) They tried to tell me that the roof wasn't leaking because of them. I'd lived in my house for over 10 years with no roof leak, they come and install a new roof, it starts leaking, and they say it wasn't their fault! Save yourself the hassle and don't use Able. Don't fall for all the advertsing you see-they are NOT a good company!
Our neighbor's roof was started the same day as our roof. We contracted with Able Roofing and they contracted with a small southern Ohio company. Able was in and out in a day and my neighbors roof is still not done a week later. They might have saved a little money but I think I got the better deal, for sure.
Able is part of Crane Plastics. I am an employee of Crane and hired Able to do my home. As expected they did fine, but the biggest reason I went with them is that I know if there is a problem they will be in business to fix it.
We chose Able Roofing because they are a big company and we knew they would be reliable. Many people in our neighborhood had similar damage to their homes. They chose to go with the companies their insurance company would cover. We knew we wanted the job done by the best company possible so we did our own research and wanted Able roofing to complete our project.
When it comes to roofing, you need a quality roofer. With the erratic weather here, roof damage is unfortunately common. They repaired my roof in one day and cleaned up immaculately. And the warranty is unbeatable!!
We had seen Able Roofing around for like 50 years. i thought that they would be the most expensive but they were actually the least expensive and offered the best warranty. Good choice.
They know what they were doing. They ran into a little trouble with the electricity as they kept blowing the breaker and finally brought a big generator. It was nice to know that they had the equipment available to do the job.
The company took the extra steps necessary to make sure that we were completely satisfied with our new roof. I'm happy to recommend Able Roof to everyone.
