The owner Mike and his crew did a great job! He insulated around my liner (which should've been done by the previous guy) and gave me other suggestions to improve my heating efficiency. He was very helpful and cleaned up better than the way he found it. I would highly recommend.

Mike replaced an ancient damper for us, with trimmings associated with old city house. New sealing, modified the flue, along with the energy saving damper. Great work. Pleasure to deal with - knowledgeable, articulate, friendly. Confident. Highly recommended.

I was exceptionally pleased by the service by Mike and the gang at Eastside chimney. They came highly recommended from people ranging from friends to professional contractors. Prior to their consult, I had obtained multiple estimates from companies in the last few years that ranged from 2-4k to run stainless steel lining due to a cracked flue liner.They accommodated my very busy schedule with ease and professionalism to schedule an inspection. Their inspection was thorough (they obviously know a great deal about their craft), and they identified that the flue liner was only cracked near the top, and could be replaced for a fraction of the cost of other estimates (they even waived the inspection fee when I asked them to do the repair.) Their repair was quick, neat, and their craftsmanship is truly exceptional; they did a number of touch ups without even charging me. After finding a chimney cap that was not standard and needing repair, they gave me the exact dimensions and model to order, and recommended a few reputable local companies from which to buy. They even came back afterwards and installed it with no charge, even though it wasn't part of the estimate! I honestly can't recommend them enough!
