Whynn Electric Company responded same day estimate and promised quick return day for rewired and upgraded electrical panel box. Dwayne the lead foreman was there from start to finish and very professional and knew his trade. All other companies total of six others tried charging us for moving meters installing new outside lead cables. Whynn Electrical had there license on hand, work permits and had Con Edison respond to remove meter cover to replace meter to circuit breaker panel lead. This was all done in less than a week and had the best prices by far and very neat and clean workmanship. I just gave them another job to rewire my basement and add a 220 line for larger air conditioning and I highly recommend this company to commercial or residential clients. Thanks again Dwayne and P.S. they also inspected every outlet and light in my home and tagged each breaker in panel for easy management for future turn off of power. they also set-up for city job inspector to respond to approve of work.

They did the wiring in my new home as well as installed a great room ceiling fan a few months later.

My wife and I recently bought our first home, a house built in 1925. Suffice to say, a lot of work needed to be done on the house's ancient, overtaxed electrical system, and a lot of really weird (and potentially dangerous) "improvements" made by the previous owner had to be fixed. Dwayne was the third electrician we called in for an estimate, and we quickly realized he would be the guy to trust our home to - he assessed the situation, explained everything in layman's terms, and helped us figure out solutions based on our needs and budget. In the months that followed, he was never less than a consummate professional - reliable, conscientious, and endlessly patient with our questions and requests. Simply put, the guy's a prince, does excellent work, and gave my wife and I a lot of comfort during a ridiculously stressful time.

I picked this company out the best electricians in staten island yellow pages. I read the reviews already posted and liked what I read. I called and spoke to Dwayne with a very specific problem I was having with a recent switch to Solar Energy. He was so helpful over the phone and so eager to help me that I was blown away. After 45 minutes, 15 photos sent to his cell phone, a complete and full understanding of my issue, he then gave me a solution to rectify my over usage of power. As it turns out, the initial installation was incorrectly done when installing the solar panels and electrical work. Dwayne was able to see from the photos and my clear understanding of my issue exactly what was installed incorrectly. I was truly overwhelmed with relief and have now contacted the reluctant Solar Energy company to send a technical team to get this problem solved once and for all.Without his generous time and knowledge , I would have still had sleepless nights and overpaying of my electric bill. I can't say enough good things about Dwayne Campbell and Whynn Electric. I have an older home and a small daycare and I have used them several times over the last few years for big and small projects.They are always professional, knowledgeable about the subject and respectful of my environment.Dwayne is amazing! Recently, I decided I wanted a video doorbell on the side of my home where there wasn't a bell at all. He installed a new panel to accommodate the doorbell and fixed the issues with my old doorbell as well.He even came out during a snow storm to restore power to my daycare. We had no heat and I was concerned for the children, He arrived quickly and didn't charge me a ridiculous price. Dwayne is polite, conscientious and respectful of my business and is willing to accommodate my hours.Dwayne has also installed a 220 line for a large air conditioner, installed new outlets and ceiling fans.Every person from Whynn who has done work for me has been professional. They even clean up after themselves!If they offered 10 stars, Dwayne Campbell and Whynn Electric would definitely receive a perfect 10. I would definitely recommend them to friends and family.

I am the building manager of a 4 story/4 apartment building in Brooklyn.In my previous experience with electricians, they are regularly late, seemingly sloppy and generally act like they are doing you a favor. This was NOT the case AT ALL with Dwayne, the head electrician at Whynn Electric. He was friendly, very knowledgeable and extremely punctual. He gave me reasonable and very accurate price quotes for the work I needed done and did everything with the utmost professionalism.The first time I called him to see if he was available to check something out he told me he'd be over in 2 hours. An hour and 45 minutes later he rang my bell. He was kind, courteous, I generally got a good vibe from him and he definitely knew what he was talking about. I arranged to have him come in and do the work, which he just finished a few minutes ago.Again, he was right on time and super pleasant. The kind of stranger you don't mind working in your house. He came in and got right to work. He worked quickly, efficiantly and was very clean and considerate regarding his surroundings.I'll tell you, I'm not looking forward to having any more electrical problems, but if I do have any, I will call Dwayne at Whynn Electric in a heart beat.Great service, great guy, great work.
