The American Fireplace is an unprofessional establishment that I do not recommend. Steve Morrison supposedly tuned up our kiva gas fireplace. Less than two weeks later the fire went out and we called to ask if he could make a quick stop by our place to check out the problem. He refused to do it. We paid $138 for this guy to improve our fireplace only to have to pay an additional $100 for someone else to complete the job. He is a crook, he’s unprofessional and based on experience, when someone talks and laughs after each sentence, normally cannot be trusted. This behavior pattern rings true for Steve Morrison at the American Fireplace. Folks keep your money and hire someone else to work on your fireplace!
