When custom cutting my bathroom countertop they broke it (chipped off the corner). I also did find the issue until we unboxed it 150+ miles away. It's upsetting that they didn't tell me when I picked it up, it was obvious but I guess I should have checked it before I left. When I called to discuss options the owner basically said I could bring it back for a refund (they don't have another) or accept as it was and they'd refund the custom cutting cost ($30). No other price adjustment. So, I my choices are to keep the broken countertop for the same cost of the unbroken one that I'd initially purchased. Or, return it with the added aggravation of having to take it back. To say the least, we're very disappointed and I guess we will return it and repurchase somewhere else. We've bought from CFO in the past and spent thousands of dollars there. They've lost a loyal customer. Our remaining renovation dollars will be spent elsewhere.
