Shortly after I bought my rental property, I realized that I was going to have to replace windows in a three flat apartment. Problem: I needed aluminum windows that where also energy efficient.Solution: Lang Exterior came to my rescue, and thank God! Their "Ultra Tuff" window line is exactly what I was looking for, and now that I have them I have seen some significant reduction in my heat bills.
I have a house with all Lang Exterior windows. I just had one slider window that had an issue locking. I called Lang Exterior---these folks were super friendly and responsive, and went out of their way to troubleshoot the issue. They sent someone the very next morning to fix the issue—and he fixed it within minutes!These windows are awesome. They look great, are high-quality, easily slide when unlocked, and are double pane, which gives me a sense of security—and really seals out the noise—which is especially awesome since I live on a corner lot of a really busy street! The former homeowner who chose Lang Exterior windows had really good taste! If I ever bought another property and needed new windows, I would definitely choose Lang Exterior windows. Highest quality windows and they really take care of customers!
The Lang staff did everything they could in order to refuse to comply with the warranty â dragging out any action on their part in order to claim they had no warranty liability.To date, I have spent over $1,500.00 replacing Lang insulated thermo-pane glass in the windows of my home. Ten Lang âÂÂPower Weld Windowsâ were installed â that means twenty sashes â with twenty sealed insulated glass window panes. Of these twenty insulated, argon filled, glass window panes - the seals on sixteen panes (80%) failed. (Way more than the 1% failure rate of window seals that Langâ ExteriorâÂÂs president claims is their normal attrition.)
I got these windows last winter to replace my single pane windows I had. I knew they were going to make a difference, but I did not think about how nice and updated they would make my home look!
This was my first experience purchasing new windows for my home. I asked my contractor for a lot of help throughout this process. He is the one that brought me to Lang Exterior. I was able to take a look at their showroom, which I found very helpful. All in all, I don't plan on needing windows for quite a while, but I would definitely recommend these windows to anyone else!
