MRC coordinated with my hot water solar contractor so that close timeline scheduling would be possible, and my hot water panels wouldn’t be offline too long. MRC was able to access my 3-story roof, and they maneuvered around my existing PV system without having to detach and reset my PV panels. My roof had three layers of old brittle shingles that were cracking off in the wind. The new Malarkey shingles have a rubber component in the asphalt that will keep them pliable for the long term, and the extended warranty is transferable if we sell the house (a major selling point).
