These guys are pretty expensive. It's $49 to replace one outlet (using my parts) which takes about 5 minutes. That's comes out close to $600 per hour. They came on time and I'm not doubting their ability but I'll look elsewhere for a better price next time.
I used this company back in 2004 and was very pleased with the promptness, competency and courtesy of the company and their electricians plus their pricing was competitive. This time was a totally different experience. On the plus side they came out promptly and the electrician they sent out was friendly. On the negative side the upfront charges for diagnostics are extremely expensive (in my earlier experience they charged diagnostics on an hourly rate). There is $49 trip fee (last time they only charged it if you didn't have them do the work they diagnosed), They didn't have the parts needed for the repair (a pool pump timer) and couldn't figure out a reasonable way to get two outside lights operational again (the price he quoted verbally was $890 to jury rig a solution for the two lights or $300+ for a single "security light". I ended up paying $270 for him to come out, wander around for an hour, say I was "unlucky" and not be able to resolve a single issue.
I am very impressed with this company and the electrician that came to my house to solve an electric problem related to my water heater. He was very nice. He wore a uniform clearly identifying him with the company. Access to my water heater is outside my home and each time he had to come into my home he stopped to put on the booties over his shoes. He found the problem, told me the estimated time it would take to fix it and what the cost would be. The job was done in the estimated time and the price was what he had quoted. I will definitely call this company again if I have need of electrical help and will also recommend them to my friends and family.
I was very impressed of the professional work performed by Jaz. He explained everything that he was doing. His quality of work ethics was above and beyond of what I have seen in the service industry. The cost of the repair was very very reasonable. I would highly recommend Small Jobs Electric to any one who wants quality work done for a very a reasonable price.

this was a very good experience. I called one day the the next day someone came out. They gave me an estimate and was able to do the work right then. The man who came out was very friendly and professional and knew what he was doing. He got right to work and the cost was very reasonable. I would absolutely call them again if I need an electrician and would recommend then to others.
I came home from work and half the power was out in my house including my fridge. i called this company and they were out in 30 minutes and had my problem fixed in no time which was great because the food didn't spoil. They were reasonable, fast and they answer their phone!
