I appreciated having a real service technician on boardand not some goofy doom & gloom repairman AKAsalesman trying to make me buy a whole new unit. I almostfound out the hard way that those companies that advertiseon TV with those wonderful stories aren't always in your bestinterest. I greatly appreciated the service and honesty that Ireceived from Comfort Central.
I typically don't write reviews because I'm not a great writer, but in this case it was easy. I called Comfort Central as a second opinion for my A/C repair since I was hoping to get my repairs done a little closer to what my budget could sustain. I don't have thousands of $$$ to just pay like that even though I do need my A/C working. At first, I was bothered that the repairman was in his truck and on the phone for about 15 minutes. When he did knock back on my door, he mentioned that he was able to update my equipment warranty to reflect my move-in date and got the parts covered under factory warranty thus saving me nearly $2,000. The previous company never even attempted to check into this. This company went above and beyond and for that reason, I felt it was my duty to offer this public "THANK YOU"

As a detective, I can tell a phony. This guy knew his stuff. My issue ended up being that my brother in law installed my new thermostat but it was never set up correctly. It took the repairman all of about 3 minutes to correct it but he also took the time to review my entire a/c while he was here. The guy was very honest and thorough. Highly recommended.
When my A/C went wacky, I called the family friend who services our equipment but he did not respond. After 3 days, I found it best to reach out to someone else for help. Comfort Central was doing some A/C work at the office so I thought I'd recruit t their help. I found out that perhaps the friend didn't return my calls is because maybe just maybe he knew that he mixed my freon types. Comfort Central had to drain all the freon and add new refrigerant. I learned that sometimes saving money by using an apartment maintenance guy is NOT always the best idea. Now my A/C is working awesome and I have a new goto company. Comfort Central was professional from start to finish & I highly recommend them.
The repairman knew his job well. Even though my problem was just that battery looking thing, he still took the time to review my A/C top to bottom to make sure that there was nothing else that would likely cause my a/c to fail again anytime soon. I recommend this company highly. Very thoughtful fellows.
