If you’re using Picket Fence Lawn LLC in College Park, please start looking for lawn service from another company. We’ve been using this company for a few months and today, on our regular service day, Eddie decided to cancel my service without notice because he’s going to phase out all of his College Park clients. He told me he plans to no longer provide service in College Park. Even if you don’t live in College Park, please understand that he may one day decide to “phase out” your area and suddenly decide to not provide service. Be prepared to find service last minute because he’s too unprofessional to even give you notice.If you’re considering hiring this company, please also understand that you won’t be dealing with professionals and mediocre work will be provided along with endless excuses. Eddie and his two men don’t even do a good job of making the lawn look decent. He has continuously blamed my lawn for his subpar work instead of aiming to do a better job. He always misses multiple spots and edging in several areas.For months with 5 weeks, he randomly picks a week to skip because monthly payment only covers 4 weeks. He won’t tell you which week he’s not showing up. You’ll be left guessing.He expects full monthly payment even if he doesn’t work the entire month. If you work 3 weeks, then you get paid for 3 weeks. If you work 2 weeks, then you get paid for 2 weeks.I’m disappointed that I’ve kept this company month after month because I kept giving them yet another chance and, quite frankly, I’ve been too busy to find another company and then the first week of the month creeps up on me and I pay for the month again. I’m also very frustrated because Eddie ended service on the very day he was suppose to work on my lawn. This is extremely unprofessional and childish. It’s very telling of his character and the type of business he runs.Do yourself a favor and stay away.
