The fan works great! But don't write a check because they won't cash it even after 3 months of calling and asking them too. Maybe I got lucky and got a free fan----NO. I referred 2 friends to them who also had attic fans installed and the haven't cashed their checks either and it has been 2 months. Absolutely frustrating....
The fan works but when it came down to completing the job which included cleanup, this business fell completely flat. Yes, they have been in business for a long time but my experience proves that no business is flawless. When the job was completed, I returned home to pay for the service. We went upstairs to turn on the fan then paid our bill. We went back up and discovered a second floor completely covered in black dust. When I called to inform Attic Fan dot com of this horrific mess, he claimed that it was clean when they left. I spent 3 hours cleaning everything. I was told by them that they tried to keep it clean and that they cleaned the house before finishing. I was told I was being a "wuss" for complaining about the mess and that he should have charged us more because the job was so complicated. We also agreed to a secondary access entry be created and I was informed during our "cleaning" conversation that they did not agree to this and would not be adding the entry.
If you are looking for a whole house fan or an attic exhaust fan, these people are THE experts. They have been installing fans for over 30 years and do a fantastic job. The fans are quiet and cut your air conditioning costs to almost nothing. I couldn't live without my whole house and and I would not have anyone else do the work for me.
