We looked at four other companies locally and found Heart House to be the best value for our money. They have one of the most efficient windows of the ones we checked out, not to mention they came highly recommended from a co-worker. The installation crew cleaned up and did an excellent job. Scott the owner was the most knowledgeable of all the people we spoke to about windows. No doubt we made the right choice.
I was relieved when I found out that the installers work exclusively for Heart House. I had read an article in the newspaper bashing Vinyl Windows. However, after researching this article I found out it was an advertisement by another local dealer who sells Fibrex. I would challenge anyone to find a better warranty in the industry. It completely covers any defects (including warping or cracking-exactly what the competitor told me would happen), workmanship, installation, product failure, parts, accidental glass breakage, screen tears and it is all put in writing!! I will tell you that my house is quieter, warmer and more enjoyable than before due to my Simonton 7500 series windows. If you are looking for windows you should give Heart House a chance to bid on the job & it's FREE!!
The in home presentation was informative and educational. They explained in detail why Simonton was the window I would want in my house. Other companies claimed to have a non-prorated lifetime warranty but would not put it in writing. My house is almost 100 years old and the windows operate and look great!!!!!!
