It was late in the day and I had sent my wife out to pick up a particular size blower pulley for an evaporative cooler. After a little driving around to the big box home improvement centers in Redlands, she had discovered that the stores were out of stock on this item because they either did not carry it or it was out of season. Out of season; in the first week of August. It was at this point that she had remembered that the little Ace hardware stores usually carried these things year-round, so she gave K&L a call. They had the pulley, but were closed for the day. That was when they went the extra mile to offer to hold onto the item for my wife until she could get down there, even though they had closed their doors a half-hour before! Talk about customer service! Thanks to K&L, we did not have to sleep through a 90 degree evening and stayed cool through the summer. It is unfortunate that there are not more stores around like this!

January 9, 2018... K & L Hardware26091 Base Line St, San Bernardino, CA 92410...I needed a Replacement Lamp "bulb" for my MAGLITE 3-cell D Flashlight. So I was shopping on line & got the published number for K & L Hardware and called them. In a few minutes with the help of the customer service representative I found I didn't need a new "bulb". He saved me a minimum of $4.59 plus tax for a "bulb" and a trip out in this heavy rain. Worse case scenario would be for me to replace the MAGLITE at a cost of $35.00 - $75.00. Calling K & L (Ace) Hardware was the best thing I did to day. Thank you, K & L Hardware.
